➠High-precision repairs of printing machines cylinders and more!

Electro-galvanization represents a procedure with multiple technical application possibilities that can be used for repairs or refinement of surfaces.
This process ensures a localized application with very high precision and with a controllable thickness of the metal - a flatness tolerance of less than 2 hundredths of a millimeter can be reached.
The main areas of use are:

  • ✦ Repair of damages occurred on the surface of printing cylinders, hydraulic cylinders and axles, e.g., scratches, dents, corrosion damage, etc.;
  • ✦ Coating with a metal layer (Ni, Cobalt) as anti-corrosion protection;
  • ✦ Partial metal coating on hard-to-reach components.

➠Reduction of alcohol consumption:
Easy transition from IPA to IPA Tech - no compromises on process stability and quality

It is possible to reduce the alcohol consumption from 10% IPA to 4% IPA Tech while still enjoying the same results and experiencing no difficulties in the printing process.

IPA Tech is an innovative substitute for alcohol, with the same efficiency but with lower costs.

Switching from IPA to IPA Tech is quick and easy - it can be completed in less than a day. Our instructors will provide assistance and will answer to your questions related to this process.

IPATech is good for people and the environment:

  • ✦High emissions of IPA can lead to headaches, nausea and poor concentration. Therefore, reducing IPA is also good for the health of your employees.
  • ✦Pure IPA is flammable at 12°C. The 12% IPA wetting solution is flammable at 42°C. Reducing IPA decreases the risk of fire and explosion due to adverse conditions in the printing press or handling in question. Reducing the consumption of IPA is good for resources,
  • ✦When IPA is degraded by sunlight, ozone is produced. IPA, like almost all volatile organic compounds (VOCs), contributes to the greenhouse effect. Therefore, reducing IPA is good for the environment and reduces your CO₂ footprint.

Other recommendations regarding the stability and quality of the printing process:

  • ✦ Use of special water ducts, LotoTec: LotoTec ducts distribute the wetting solution very evenly on the printing plate and ensure a good and stable ink-water balance.
  • ✦Using the correct wetting solution additive: A wide range of wetting solution additives have been tested and optimized over many years for trouble-free use in everyday work.
